It is widely acknowledged that our country currently lacks representation among the world's 500 most valuable brands. Although we have international brands that operate globally or are striving for global expansion, none has yet attained a position in this distinguished ranking.
According to Brand Finance's 2025 report, the United States leads with 201 brands among the world's 500 most valuable brands. China follows with 72 brands. France and Japan each have 33 brands, Germany has 28, and the United Kingdom has 20.
If, as a country, we are experiencing economic challenges, cultural decline, undervaluation of our products, and a lack of recognition despite sustained efforts, it is evident that the absence of global brands is a significant contributing factor.
As the Bimarka Turkey platform, we aim to raise awareness, foster understanding, and support initiatives to develop global brands for our country. To achieve these objectives, we plan to publish scientific journals, organize conferences and symposia, and conduct project studies. This platform will bring together individuals interested in these topics and facilitate the exchange of scientific research and sectoral expertise.
We believe that achieving representation among the world's 500 most valuable brands will provide significant momentum toward attaining the standards of contemporary civilizations. Furthermore, these efforts will support the realization of our objective to have five brands among the world's 100 most valuable brands by 2053, as outlined in the 12th Development Plan.
To this end, we will initiate a range of scientific studies on this subject. In addition to research and sectoral contributions, we will share expert perspectives on this topic. We aim to increase awareness through our platform and social media accounts, encouraging participation from all who are committed to Turkey's emergence as a global brand leader.
Through these channels, we will explore how value can be added to our country's output across various domains, including individuals, products, services, cities, and the nation as a whole. We will actively seek and disseminate solutions.
We hope that the perspectives shared on this platform will make meaningful contributions to our people, the products and services we offer, our cities, and ultimately, our country.
